Korin-in, a sub-temple of Daitoku-ji, was built in 1521 by a warlord Yoshitusa Hatekeyama. The dry garden in front of the Main Hall represents Mount Horai, a sacred mountain where immortal sages live according to Taoist beliefs. The garden was created recently in Shova period.
